2024 and Gamay went well together. It was a cool growing season and it produced bright juicy Gamay. The grapes came from a vineyard located just outside of Hahndorf called Maple Ridge. The hand-harvested grapes were fermented with whole berries and a small amount of whole bunches in a small open fermenter and hand plunged. The wine is bright, savoury and very moreish. It is full of dark cherries, raspberries, stalky tannins and has a delicate finish.
