Named for my dog, Harvey, who oversees all aspects of the winemaking process, this shiraz began its life in the red clay soil of the Bimbadeen vineyard in the northern part of the Clare Valley. Crushed into a small open fermenter and gently hand plunged, it was fermented wild and then matured in French oak before being bottled. Featuring dark chocolate and plums on the palate and finishing with firm, chalky tannins, this wine displays both power and finesse.
